Mastering Tutorial: iZotope Ozone 5 Dynamics – Part 4
iZotope Ozone 5 Dynamics – Part 4 – In this tutorial I introduce you to the Dynamics Module in iZotope Ozone 5 and talk about the shared crossover for multi-band modules.
Topics covered include:
Gain Reduction Trace
Histogram vs. Gain Reduction
Detection Circuit (Peak/RMS/Envelope)
Limiter & Upward Expansion
Gate & Expander
Stereo vs. M/S Processing
Here’s part 4 of my iZotope Ozone 5 series. In this video I give an overview of the Dynamics Module – with a demonstration of some parameters introduced to a house music track. Keep in mind that these parameters (along with the supplied presets) can be good starting points… but you will need to further modifying these parameters to suit the track you are mastering.
Don’t forget to watch part 1 & 2 & 3 of the series which introduces you to the Ozone 5 Interface, EQ and Harmonic Exciter!
