In this tutorial I demonstrate a workflow going from Cinema 4D to Apple’s Motion software. The example used, is of a iPhone which has a camera move animated in Cinema 4D – the goal – to replace the screen and make other corrections in Motion.

Topics include:
C4D Compositing Tag
C4D External Compositing Tag
Cinema 4D Object Buffer & Luminance Matte’s
Screen Replacement in Apple Motion
Setting a Luminance Matte in Motion via Image Mask

I am still learning the in-and-outs of Cinema 4D and plan to create more tutorials as I go. I plan on doing an overview of the software and modeling in the near future, and would love to hear feedback on the series and I continue.
