Video Tutorials For Beginners-Advanced Using Canon Cameras

In this video I demonstrate how to load a custom picture style into your Canon DSLR. I’m using a Canon 7D, but this technique will work with other Canon EOS DSLR’s. You must have the Canon EOS Utility installed and updated if not already. You must also have a picture style you want to load… for the tutorial I used Technicolor’s Cinestyle. Cinestyle is a flat picture style allowing you to shoot footage with greater detail in both the highlights and shadows… however their picture style is designed to be color corrected in post production. If you do not plan to color correct in post, you will want to use another picture style.

Topics covered include:
Launching Canon EOS Utility
Loading Custom Picture Styles
Saving Picture Styles via Custom Camera Settings

I plan to do more of these Camera Quick Tip videos going forward. As always, feedback and sharing the video with friends is appreciated!

Thanks,
Fordee
