How-To Add a Great White to Your Living Room in Final Cut Pro X | Keying / Masking | FordeeTV

In this video I show you how I masked and keyed out the doors in my living room that go out to my balcony to add a fake aquatic scene which includes a great white shark. I talk about some issues that will arise while preparing the green screen, I show the issues I encountered and explain some fixes to these issues. I ended up doing this both in Final Cut Pro X (using the standard Keyer, and the Hawaiki Keyer although not shown in the video it made a slightly better result) and I used Mocha Pro to track the windows, exported those shapes as shape data for AE and used the shapes as masks to then show the footage below. I show a few tricks on how to sell the composite and more.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial, look for a lot more coming soon.
