iZotope Ozone 5 Maximizer – Part 6 – In this tutorial I introduce you to the Maximizer Module in iZotope Ozone 5 and talk about dithering as well.

Topics covered include:
Limiter Modes (IRC, IRC II, IRC III, Hard, Soft)
Intersample Detection
Setting Limiter Threshold & Margin
Limiter Character
Transient Recovery
Stereo Link
Dithering Types
Dither Amount
Noise Shaping
Bit Depth
DC Offset
And more…

Here’s part 6 of my iZotope Ozone 5 series. In this video I give an overview of the Maximizer Module and speak about the dither ability of the plugin – with a demonstration of some parameters introduced to a house music track. Keep in mind that these parameters (along with the supplied presets) can be good starting points… but you will need to further modifying these parameters to suit the track you are mastering.

Don’t forget to watch part 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the series which introduces you to the Ozone 5 Interface, EQ and Harmonic Exciter, Reverb and Dynamics, Stereo Imaging and more!
