FordeeTV is a brand name, not a separate company. This website (fordeetv.com), its shop, its free tools, and the plugins and LUT packs sold here are run by Herbistry LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Herbistry LLC.
Herbistry LLC also runs herbistry420.com, which has its own privacy policy. This policy covers fordeetv.com and the products sold through it.
2. What we collect
We don't have user accounts on this site. We only get personal information when you choose to send it to us through one of the features below.
Contact form
When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, and message, plus the date and time and the IP address it came from. It arrives as an email in our inbox.
Launch notifications
When you ask to be told when a plugin launches, we receive your email address, the plugin you picked, the date and time, and your IP address.
Free AI visibility quick check
When you run the free check, we receive your email address and the website address you enter. Our server then visits that website's public homepage and a few standard public files (robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and llms.txt) to score it. We receive the results, the date and time, and your IP address. We use your email to send you your results and may follow up about our paid audit service. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Purchases and free downloads
Paid and free products are checked out through third-party stores (see Third-party services). We never see or store your full card number. From the store, we receive your name, email address, country, what you bought, the price, and the tax charged. Free products that go through a checkout, such as the LUT Loader, collect your email address the same way.
Plugins sold through FxFactory are bought inside the FxFactory app, and FxFactory's own privacy policy covers that purchase.
Plugin license activation
When you activate a paid plugin with a license key, the plugin sends your license key and your Mac's computer name (for example, "Sam's MacBook Pro") to Lemon Squeezy, our license provider, so the key can be tied to that Mac. The plugin checks the license again from time to time and saves its license status in a file on your Mac so it keeps working offline. We can see which computer names are activated on each key, which helps when you need to move a license to a new Mac. If you'd rather not share your real name, change your Mac's computer name in System Settings before activating.
Apart from licensing, our plugins don't send your projects, media, or usage data anywhere.
Email with us
If you email us directly, we keep that conversation, including your email address and anything you include.
Free tools that stay in your browser
Tempo Marker builds its marker files entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us. Reef Run, the arcade game, has no leaderboard and sends nothing to us. It saves your high score and settings on your own device (see Cookies and browser storage).
3. Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting and network providers log basic request data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. We use it to keep the site running, fast, and secure, and to see aggregate traffic numbers.
We do not use advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set any cookies of its own. Our network provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Reef Run saves these items in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them:

Embedded videos and some pages load content from other companies, who may set their own cookies. See the next sections.
5. How we use your information
- To answer your messages and deliver the services you ask about
- To process orders, deliver downloads, and handle license keys and support
- To email you when a plugin you asked about launches
- To send you your quick-check results and follow up about the audit
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse
- To keep the business and tax records the law requires
If you're in the EU or UK, our legal bases are: your consent (launch notifications and quick-check follow-ups, which you can withdraw at any time), performing a contract with you (orders, licenses, and services), our legitimate interests (answering messages, security, and preventing abuse), and legal obligations (tax records).
6. Third-party services
These companies help run the site and sell our products. Each only gets the data it needs for its job and follows its own privacy policy.
- Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for most of our paid and free products. It handles checkout, payment, sales tax, receipts, and license keys, and receives the details you enter at checkout plus the license activation data described above.
- FxFactory sells, delivers, and licenses the plugins listed on FxFactory, inside its own app.
- Stripe processes payment for the paid AI Visibility Audit and receives the details you enter at checkout.
- DreamHost hosts this website and our email, including the messages the site's forms send us.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and processes standard request data such as your IP address.
- Bunny (bunny.net) delivers plugin trial downloads and receives standard request data such as your IP address.
- YouTube (Google) powers the embedded videos. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube doesn't set its cookies until you press play. Video preview images load from YouTube's servers, which receive your IP address.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on our plugin manuals. When you open a manual, Google receives your IP address.
7. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only share it with the service providers above, when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is sold or reorganized, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
8. How long we keep it
- Contact form messages and email: as long as the conversation or project is active, and up to 24 months after, unless a longer period is needed for a client contract
- Launch notification signups: until the plugin launches and we've emailed you, or until you ask us to remove you
- Quick-check submissions: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them
- Order and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years
- License activations: for the life of the license, so it can keep working and be moved between Macs
- Server and security logs: kept by our hosting and network providers for their standard periods
- Reef Run data: on your device only, until you clear it
9. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of any follow-up email at any time.
EU and UK residents also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell or share it, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm it's really you, and we'll respond within 30 days. For orders, some data is held by the store you bought from, and we'll help you reach them.
10. Where data is processed
Herbistry LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When data about EU or UK residents is transferred, we rely on our providers' legal transfer safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Children
This site is meant for adults and creative professionals. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
12. Security
The whole site runs over an encrypted connection, payments are handled by established payment processors, and access to our inbox and store accounts is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know by email where we can.
