About
Add it as a generator, put your footage or a solid color on the track right below it, and you have got an equalizer bouncing to your music on screen. Load a song in the project and it reacts to the actual audio: the bars jump on the bass, the waveform rides the melody, the colors move with it. No song in the project? It still dances, driven by a BPM you set. Ten styles to pick from, from tall spectrum bars and mirrored center bars to LED meters, a dot-matrix grid, a thin line, a filled area wave, circular radial rings in and out, and an oscilloscope waveform. Rainbow color out of the box, or dial in your own. Real-time on Apple Silicon, runs in Final Cut Pro and Motion.
Then make it move. A whole rack of animation effects rides on top: RGB shift, glitch, pixelate, wave, shake, a bass-pump zoom, a kaleidoscope, a hue flow, and a scroll, and you can run two at once for the layered looks or let Auto-Cycle switch them on the beat. Fourteen presets get you a finished look in one click, grouped from clean Essentials to full Psychedelic, and every knob is still right there when you want to build your own. Line the EQ up to a song that starts partway down your timeline, tune the attack and decay so the reactions stay tight instead of jittery, and drop peak markers that hang and fall on the loud hits.
An FxPlug generator for Final Cut Pro and Motion. Add it as a generator and put your footage, or a background, on the track right below it.
macOS 13.5 (Ventura) or later · Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) · Final Cut Pro 10.8.1 or Motion 5.8 (or later)

The controls

What it does
One generator, a rack of visualizer styles, and a full animation engine riding on top.
Ten visualizer styles
Tall spectrum bars, mirrored center bars, LED meters, a dot-matrix grid, a thin line, a filled area wave, circular radial rings in and out, and an oscilloscope waveform. Pick a look and it is playing.
Reacts to your actual song
Load a track and the EQ moves with it for real: bass drives the low end, the melody rides the middle, the highs sparkle up top. Attack and decay smoothing keep it tight, not jittery.
No song? It still dances
No music in the project, or you just want a vibe? Set a BPM and it moves to the beat on its own, with dance patterns like Pulse, Ripple, and Sparkle. Nudge the beat until it lands.
Stackable animation FX
Pour effects on top: RGB shift, glitch, pixelate, wave, shake, bass-pump zoom, kaleidoscope, hue flow, and scroll. Run two at once for the layered looks, or let Auto-Cycle switch them on the beat.
Fourteen presets, then make it yours
One-click looks grouped from clean Essentials to full Psychedelic. Start on a preset, then every knob is right there: colors, gain, intensity, peak markers, the works.
Common questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes, and it's the real deal, not a locked-down demo. Download it, add it to your timeline, and every style, effect, and preset works with no time limit. The only catch is a small watermark sitting over the output so you know you're on the trial. Add a license key and it's gone, and your exports come out clean.
Is this a filter or a generator?
A generator, so you don't drop it on a clip like a normal effect. Add it as a generator and put your footage, or a solid color, on the track right below it. The equalizer plays over whatever is under it. Load a song into the project and it reacts to that.
Do I need a song in my project?
Nope. If you've got music in the project, the EQ reacts to it. If you don't, set a BPM and it dances to the beat on its own. Either way you get a moving equalizer, no audio required.
What do I get when I buy?
A license key. There's just one download, the same trial you already have, and the key unlocks it into the full version. No second installer, no separate pro file to hunt down. Enter the key once and you're set.
Where's my license key, and what if I lose it?
It arrives by email in your receipt. Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, so the receipt and the key come from them. Lost it? No drama. Sign in to that same Lemon Squeezy account with the email you bought with and your key and downloads are waiting. Check your spam folder before you panic. Open your Lemon Squeezy orders →
How do I activate it?
In Final Cut Pro or Motion, add the effect to your timeline and open the inspector. Find the License panel, paste your key, and hit Activate. The watermark disappears and you're good. You only do it once, and it sticks. One purchase covers up to two of your own Macs, and you can deactivate an old one to free a slot.
Can I get a refund?
Because the free trial lets you try every style and effect before you spend a cent, license purchases are final. Take the trial for a proper spin first, that's exactly what it's there for. If something's actually broken, get in touch and I'll sort you out.
