Freeze your shot and smash it like a pane of glass. Pick where it breaks, drag the impact point anywhere on screen, and cracks spider out from there before the whole frame lets go. The shards tumble away in real 3D, catching the light and turning edge-on as they fly, and what's behind them shows through, so you can reveal the next clip, a logo, whatever's sitting on the track below. The whole break runs off one slider. Keyframe the shatter and you own the timing, the speed, the hold, even run it backwards to put the glass back together. Dial the force to throw the shards near or far, change the seed for a fresh break every time, and the glints and lit edges keep it looking like real glass instead of a cheap crack overlay. Runs in Final Cut Pro and Motion.
